Dora Correal was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and raised in New Mexico where she graduated with her bachelor’s in business administration from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces.
Throughout her 10-year tenure with NOAH, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Arizona, she has been instrumental in establishing the Hospital2NOAH program, which helps patients from our local hospitals establish a medical home. She has built a myriad of partnerships with community agencies across Maricopa County with the goal of creating healthcare equality and access to resources. In partnership with the local health department, Dora led a team in creating a robust Community Health Needs Assessment. Dora has led the charge for creating our patient’s journey by closing gaps with Health-Related Social Needs (HRSN). Dora’s latest endeavor is creating the framework for NOAH’s Community Health Worker program which aims to further engage patients and community members whose health is at risk due to HRSN or uncontrolled chronic illnesses.
Dora is passionate about building a more Health Equitable community for people who are vulnerable and has dedicated her career to achieving this goal.
