As Vice President and Chief Equity Officer, Mimi engages and partners with agencies and leaders in our communities and throughout the Commonwealth to develop and drive a health-informed community equity agenda. In this role, Mimi will leverage NeighborHealth’s role as a leading healthcare provider to facilitate collaboration amongst NeighborHealth and multiple health and human service agencies, ensuring that the health center integrates community feedback into its strategic response to systemic and prevailing health equity gaps in our neighborhoods.
Mimi is a catalyst for social change with a career focusing on disrupting the cycle of trauma, transforming the healthcare system, and developing systems to promote racial healing and ensure an individual’s right to opportunities for positive development. She is a licensed independent clinical social worker and active clinician. She holds a Master in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Health, a Master of Arts in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago, Crown Family School of Social Work, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Chicago.
