Bianca is a Senior Program Analyst specializing in Performance Improvement at NACCHO, which involves managing and supporting projects on topics such as strategic planning, Healthy People 2030, and the Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships (MAPP) framework. Prior to joining NACCHO, Bianca spent five years at the Detroit Health Department where she most recently managed the city’s Community Health Improvement (CHI) process and led the department’s Health Equity Workgroup. During this time, she also worked with a team that raised over $3.5 million in grant funding, contributing to eight new projects that increased the department’s capacity to address key public health issues related to infant mortality, teen pregnancy, child health, and lead poisoning prevention that were not being addressed through historic programs and services. She has worked on numerous public health projects at the local, national, and global levels that have ranged in focusing on health issues related to HIV/AIDS among vulnerable populations in Lusaka, Zambia to reducing unintended teen pregnancy in Detroit. Bianca has a BS in Brain Behavior and Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan and an MPH from the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
