Deputy Director, Federal Policy

Erin Prendergast, MPH is NACHC’s Deputy Director of Federal Policy. Erin has over nine years of experience in healthcare policy and regulatory affairs. In her roles, she has led regulatory and legislative analyses, developed policy strategies and educational programming on various healthcare regulations. As Deputy Director of Federal Policy, her priority areas are Mental Health and Medicaid Enrollment strategies in Community Health Centers. In this role, she manages and advises on various policy issues, provides training and technical assistance, and develops resources that help health centers effectively advance and fulfill their mission.
Prior to joining NACHC, Erin served as a Senior Manager of Quality Improvement at the American Health Care Association and Manager of Health Policy & Regulatory Affairs at Faegre Drinker in Washington, D.C. In her free time, she enjoys taking barre classes and is a watercolor painter where she is a member of the Capitol Hill Arts League in Washington, D.C. She holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from The College of New Jersey and a Master of Public Health degree from The George Washington University.
