Medical Director, Health Informatics

Dr. Raymonde Uy serves as Medical Director of Health Informatics at NACHC, where he leads health IT policy, informatics, data standards, and artifical intelligence initiatives. As a clinical informatics subject matter expert, he oversees projects enhancing clinical decision support, data quality, and workflow optimization. He advances interoperability and value-based care by developing 150+ NLM VSAC-published value sets to standardize health data extraction, segmentation, and analytics, enabling syndromic surveillance reporting for public health agencies.
As a clinical informaticist, Dr. Uy collaborates with academic and industry partners across the U.S., Philippines, and Asia-Pacific. He holds adjunct professorships in Health Informatics and Health Information Management and is an appointed member of the Health Information Technology Advisory Committee (HITAC).
Dr. Uy earned dual MD/MBA degrees and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Biomedical Informatics at the NIH and National Library of Medicine under LOINC founder Dr. Clem McDonald. He is a diplomate of the inaugural AMIA Certified Health Informatics Professional (ACHIP) cohort and serves as a commissioner for the certification of advanced clinical informatics professionals.
