Nashia Choudhury, MPH, is the Director of Programs, Health Care Transformation at the Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO), an organization committed to advancing advocacy, collaboration, and leadership to improve the health status and access for Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (AAs & NH/PIs). Nashia co-directs and oversees AAPCHO’s Programs and Services, supporting training and technical assistance, disaggregated data advocacy, workforce development, and health center partnerships. She manages the National Training and Technical Assistance Partners (NTTAP) grant and leads partnerships focused on enabling services, data collection, and social needs interventions.
Before joining AAPCHO, Nashia served as the Data and Evaluation Manager at the National Association of Community Health Workers, Director of Operations at a federally qualified health center in Michigan, and Associate Director of Operations and Enabling Services at the Michigan Primary Care Association. She has extensive expertise in health center programming, federal grants management, training and technical assistance, workforce sustainability, policy advocacy, and cultivating partnerships. She has been a part of the CHC movement for almost a decade.
Nashia earned a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from Oakland University and a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
