Aimee Wechsler, MPA is the Director of Government Affairs at The Wright Center for Community Health. As a member of the Advocacy Team, she helps to advance public health policies and strategies that enhance population health and address socioeconomic determinants of health through strategic partnerships with government officials and advocacy initiatives. Before joining The Wright Center, she held several positions in both state and federal government, including Deputy Secretary of Policy and Planning in the Office of Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf, Regional Manager for U.S. Senator Bob Casey, and Policy Director at the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities. In these roles, she cultivated strong relationships with community leaders and stakeholders, contributed to the development of government programs, advised lawmakers and key staff, and managed diverse policy portfolios aligned with administration and department priorities. Aimee holds a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Scranton in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
