Session Description: As the 340B program garners more scrutiny, collecting and understanding all your 340B data has never been more important. This data-focused session will help attendees realize the program’s impact on their pharmacy, patients, and health center overall. In this session, attendees will learn how to harness existing data – both available outside data resources and your own health center pharmacy – to calculate impacts of new proposals affecting the 340B program. Attendees then will learn about leveraging said data to help employ successful communication strategies at both the federal and state levels to protect their 340B program and showcase its value to their patients and community.

340B Day attendance is closed to media and requires P&I registration.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will develop the skills to analyze the impact of the 340B program on their pharmacy, patients, and health center using outside data and data from their own health center pharmacy.
  • Participants will be able to calculate and evaluate the consequences of proposed changes to the 340B program, including the “rebate” model proposals and provisions of the IRA, on their health center.
  • Participants will learn how to effectively utilize 340B data to support state and federal educational efforts and demonstrate the value of the program across audiences.
