POSTCN2 - Building a Strong Health Center Board Chair and CEO Partnership (Separate Registration Required)

Session Description: An effective partnership between the board chair and CEO is critical for the health center’s overall success and sustainability. This highly interactive post-conference workshop will address key components of a strong board chair and CEO relationship, and introduce a tool that partners can use to develop shared agreements to guide their work together. Additionally, participants will discuss good practices for health center board meetings and overall governance, and have an opportunity to identify strategies to enhance governance at their center. We strongly recommend the center’s CEO and board chair attend this session together to explore their critical relationship and to discuss how to enhance governance at their center.

For an optimal experience, we strongly recommend that a Health Center CEO and Board Chair register for and attend this training together; a center’s Vice Chair may also participate. Note: This session is only open to CEOs, Board Chairs, and Vice Chairs.
